The logo of Kimpton was recently put up on a tower that is being built in Yangcheng Yinzuo in SIP, marking a significant step towards the opening of the Kimpton hotel scheduled in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The hotel, jointly developed by Suzhou Hengtai Commercial Real Estate Co Ltd, a member within SIP-based real estate conglomerate Hengtai Holding, and British hospitality company InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), is going to have 273 guest rooms with a total floor area of about 37,000 square meters.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, a boutique hotel chain under IHG, is the avant-garde of lifestyle luxury. The Kimpton hotel in SIP, dubbed “the hotel in clouds”, will boast a combination of boutique hotel and characteristic catering services. It will allow the guests to enjoy the best panoramic top view of SIP.
