The Suzhou Toy Museum opened in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort, SIP recently, telling amazing stories of toys.

The museum houses more than 10,000 toys including dolls of characters in Chinese legends and folklore and those of world-famous cartoons and films. The exhibits can always put the visitors in remembrance of their childhood, no matter how old they are.

Moreover, the museum presents historical records about many traditional Chinese toys, and details about the origin, evolution and research of toys and their significance for people.

It is noteworthy that the museum was set up by a group of toy enthusiasts who hope to remind people of the happiness in their childhood, spread culture through toys, and inspire the visitors to think about toys’ role in human life.

It is learned that the museum will host collaborative cultural product design campaigns, flash mob activities and other events in the future.
