The contemporary art exhibition themed “Where the Spirit Returns to” opened at Jinji Lake Art Museum in SIP on Mar 16, and will last till June 22.

The exhibition, sponsored by SIP Public Cultural Center, brings together about 80 works by 22 contemporary artists, including paintings, sculptures, installations, and audio-visual works.

“Some of the works were specially created for the exhibition. They are the results of explorations of people’s enthusiasm and love, reflection and pursuit, and peace and transcendence in mind,” said Du Xiyun, the designer of the exhibition.

The exhibition is paired with an art co-creation project themed “Gravitation of City”, under which the participants from SIP contribute things with special meaning to them for the creation of a magnetic installation led by artist Fu Zhongwang.

Apart from that, Jinji Lake Art Museum will organize public education activities focused on integrated development of cities and art.
