SIP saw a marriage registration peak on the Valentine’s Day. The marriage registration offices were full of a romantic and happy atmosphere.

The marriage registration office at Suhongxi Road extended work hours on the day, and offered more than just issuing the marriage license. The newlyweds took photos with the specially decorated wall, and received gifts such as a fridge magnet, bracelet or sugar painting designed as a token of love.

The people who registered their marriage at the office near the Sino-French Wall of Love in Ligongdi Cultural and Creative Block participated in various interactive activities that enhanced their intimacy.

Moreover, professional psychologists and marriage guidance counselors served on site to give the newly married couples a helping hand in adapting to their new family life.

Statistics show that the two offices finished registration for 99 couples on the day.
