The Jinji Lake Light Track in SIP recently won the gold award in the “Innovative Lighting Design” category of the MUSE Design Awards 2025.
The MUSE Design Awards, initiated in 2015 by the Alliance of American Museums (AAM) and the International Awards Associate (IAA) in New York, the United States, are presented annually to professionals in architectural design, interior design, lighting design, fashion design and other fields.
The Jinji Lake Light Track, extending along Jinji Lake, is one of SIP’s major urban renewal projects in 2024. This project focuses on upgrading the lighting facilities and control system of an overwater trestle bridge and several waterside pathways to create a continuous 15-kilometer intelligent lakeside running route and a 3.5-kilometer interactive “l(fā)ight-chasing” running path.
Users can access the system via a mobile app for intelligent route planning, dynamic light interactions, information about scenic spots, and AI-captured “highlight moments”. They can select preferred colors to experience the chasing and accompanying effect of the lighting system.
