Intercos, a Milan-headquartered extraordinarily innovative global company specializing in make-up and skin care products, opened an R&D and operation center and an intelligent manufacturing base in SIP on Feb 27 for localization of its products and services.

Founded in 1972, Intercos runs 12 R&D centers, 16 manufacturing bases and 16 marketing offices across the world. It started operation in SIP in 2003, and had set up two branches in the industrial park before investing in these new facilities.

The R&D and operation center is located in Jinji Lake CBD, and the intelligent manufacturing base in SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone, comprising an R&D, innovation and marketing center, workshops for manufacturing of skin care products, an automatic delivery system, and an intelligent warehouse.
