ALDI, a German grocery store chain with over 13,000 stores worldwide, will open a store in SIP next month. This store, one of two in East China’s Jiangsu province, is expected to become a new popular shopping site in SIP.

ALDI, the global brand with a German heritage that goes back over 100 years, has been committed to bringing international quality products to its consumers. It opened two stores in Shanghai in 2019, embarking on its operation in China, and set up another 63 stores in the city over the following six years.

ALDI is committed to growing in China through community-oriented localization and innovation. Its stores are within close proximity to residential districts and office areas, and its products are designed to meet the locals’ urgent needs for good, inexpensive daily necessities.

The new store is located at Fangzhou Neighborhood Center. In addition to offering low-price, high-quality products, it adopts a digital management system and has a local warehouse which can help improve its operation efficiency and reduce cost.
