MIKOPTIK, a company in SIP, celebrated the opening of its new R&D and operation headquarters on Mar 22. Wu Hong, director of SIP Administrative Committee, attended the opening ceremony.

Founded in 2016, MIKOPTIK provides manufacturing equipment and solutions for production of high-end electronic circuits, IC carrier boards, advanced packaging, micro-electromechanical systems, pan-semiconductors, and solar energy and micro-nano devices.

The project, located in Jinji Lake CBD, is designed with a total floor area of about 41,000 square meters. The total investment will reach RMB600 million. The first phase of the project, with a floor area of 32,000 square meters, has been completed.

Zhang Lei, chairman of the company, said the new headquarters building marks an important milestone on the company’s development trajectory, especially for branding and strategic upgrading.
