Sumitomo Pharma (Suzhou) Co Ltd, a branch of Japanese pharmaceutical company Sumitomo Pharma, recently received the license for pharmaceutical wholesale from SIP Market Supervision Bureau (SIPMSB) and Medical Products Management Center (SIP-MPMC). This will allow the company to further innovate its business mode and expand its market shares.

So far, SIP has recorded 25 pharmaceutical wholesalers and three pharmaceutical retail chain headquarters. SIPMSB and SIP-MPMC were authorized by Jiangsu Medical Products Administration last year to renew licenses for local enterprises to deal with pharmaceutical wholesale. So far, the authorities have issued six licenses of such kind.
