Brückner Group, a global leader in polymer film stretching and one of the world’s largest packaging machine manufacturers, signed an agreement with SIP on Apr 18 to set up its Asia-Pacific headquarters base in the industrial park which it has kept a close partnership with since 2010.

Shen Mi, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of the CPC SIP Working Committee, Axel von Wiedersperg, CEO of Brückner Group, and Uwe Th?nniss, CEO of Brückner Group (China), witnessed the signing of the agreement.

With an investment of US$100 million, the new facility will integrate the functions of high-end manufacturing, R&D, marketing and settlement, supply and procurement to serve as a major strategic hub for Brückner’s operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
