IBM, a global technology innovator, and X-POWER (Suzhou) Information Technology Co Ltd (X-Power), a leading provider of intelligent and digital integrated system solutions in China, will jointly set up an innovation center in SIP, according to the agreement signed on Apr 7.

The innovation center aims to help local businesses reduce cost and improve efficiency in R&D, data management, manufacturing and quality control based on IBM’s advanced technology and experience in digital and intelligent transformation as well as the in-depth insights on industries and rich experience of X-Power and its parent company Suzhou Global Technology Co Ltd.

The center will showcase IBM’s excellent digitalization solutions for its clients, and strive to promote innovative application of new technologies and products in manufacturing, medical service and other sectors through marketing and joint development of solutions.

X-Power will be responsible for the daily operation of the innovation center. It plans to create a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform to customize solutions for manufacturers based on IBM’s products and technologies.
