The New Oriental New Media Headquarters (Suzhou), a branch of New Oriental Education & Technology Group, a Chinese private educational service provider, and Soochow Securities, a securities brokerage firm in SIP, signed an agreement in SIP’s Yangcheng Digital Valley on Mar 26 to launch strategic cooperation.

The New Oriental New Media Headquarters (Suzhou), located in Yangcheng Digital Valley, is dedicated to exploring ways for innovative integration of new media with education, cultural tourism and life services. Its business portfolio covers tourist services, services for youngsters’ learning tours, paid knowledge products and intellectual property-based content.

Soochow Securities has made great efforts to advance financial technology in recent years. It opened a digital innovation center in Yangcheng Digital Valley this month with the aim of promoting development and application of financial technology.

Under the agreement, the two companies will give full play to their individual strengths to jointly explore innovative development modes featuring integration of culture, education and finance.

Specifically, the two parties will continuously enhance collaboration in building “new media matrixes” which boast a combination of multiple new media channels designed to effectively reach the target audiences, developing digital products, and incubating integration projects.
