The Worldhotel Grand Dushulake Suzhou in SIP was transformed into a matchmaking site on Apr 13 when 66 young elites from higher education institutions, top research labs and eminent companies gathered with the expectation of making friends and even finding their life partners.

The event was jointly organized by the Communist Youth League Working Committee and the Federation of Trade Unions of Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District.

The event started with a “cherry blossom number draw” which randomly grouped the participants. Then, through regrouping and interactive games, the participants quickly bonded over shared interests. After that, they walked in the hotel’s garden to finish a series of tasks at six designated spots. In this process, seven couples emerged.
