Weijinyuan Kindergarten in SIP’s Weiting Sub-district recently hosted an event to usher in the World Book Day that is observed every year on Apr 23.

During the event, the children showed their picture diaries about reading, read poems, and sold books at the “book fair”. A campaign went on at the same time to allow the kids to exchange pre-loved books for fresh vegetable, which enhanced their awareness of environmental protection and resource reutilization.

As the last but most anticipated part of the event, a stage play was put on by a group of kids based on a story they had read.
